West Coast Swing is a modern form of swing that is very versatile, using a wide range of music like Blues, Funk, Motown, Pop, Country, etc.

It is the direct descendant of Lindy and East Coast Swing, but in a contemporary setting. It is danced in clubs, at special events like weddings, holiday parties, just about anywhere to most music with a slower to medium tempo.

Night Club Two Step (Fancy Slow dance) is an easy to learn dance, which is used when a romantic slow song is playing and you want to do more than just rock back and forth. Singles and couples welcome. Everyone loves this dance and it very popular in Sonoma County. Do it anywhere slow music is playing. This is also the dance that works well for Wedding First Dance Routines.

Salsa is a Spanish word, which when translated literally means "sauce". Hot, spicy, and full of exotic Latin flavor, the dance Salsa is true to its name. Salsa is usually danced to music of a medium to fast tempo. It is popular Worldwide and we teach "Club Style" so you will fit in anywhere!

Ballroom Survival classes introduce the student to several of the traditional dances that are popular at most Ballroom oriented events. We teach Waltz, ChaCha, Tango, East Coast Swing, Foxtrot, and Rumba. Learn enough to survive those social situations that require some knowledge of these dances.

These classes are sponsored by the Town of Windsor Recreation Dept. and are held at the Senior Center in town at 9231 Foxwood Dr.( off Los Amigos Rd.).

Fridays - occasional nights about twice per month 7:30 to9:30pm Pre-Intermediate level 2 classesto help you continue improving. Call for dates and type of dance. Mainly West Cosat Swing, Night Club Two Step, or Salsa. $25 per couple for all evening.

Locations of Classes:

Tuesday Group Classes are held at the Senior Center in Windsor at 9231 Foxwood Drive.( off Los Amigos Rd.). See the registion instructions above.

Fridays are held in the Larkfield area at 5455 Old Redwood Highway about 1 mile south of Shiloh Rd. between Fulton Rd and Airport Blvd. Look for the Windsor Dance Academy

I also teach private lessons at several locations in Sonoma County for the convenience of my students. We can choose the best place when you schedule your lesson.
